This question is for everyone of these religions to come together and see their similarities. They essentially all 3 have the same stories of Noah, Moses, and Abraham, and they essentially all have the same beliefs and laws. They all 3 say they are the one true religion and all other gods and religions will lead you to hell. Another obvious similarity is the laws to kill enemies, friends, and family for believing in, or even suggesting, to worship different gods or religions. All 3 religions have a very dark history of murder, war, and torture yet followers consider their religion one of peace. When their God kills it is justified and when one kills for God it is glorified. To me a religion of peace would be a religion of tollerance, acceptance, and forgiveness (but without killing as a form of forgiveness) Many Christians claim that When Jesus died on the cross we were forgiven, but when will God be forgiven for his sins?

Ah, yes... the three Abrahamic death-cults of desert monotheism. Well, the common element is that they are all rooted in the myths, superstitions, fairy tales and fantastical delusions of an ignorant gaggle of Bronze Age fishermen and wandering, militant, marauding, genocidal goat-herders, which they think represent the ultimate cosmic 'truth' relating to fundamental issues of existence and reality.

So... essentially... they all live in a subjective world that is created from delusion. The CORE delusion for all three is essentially the same... but once you stray from the core, the differences... and what the fight about... are merely differences in the details of the delusion.

Jews don't use the "Old Testament"; Jews use the TaNaKh, which the Christian OT was translated from. Jews do NOT believe Judaism is the only way to God. There is no Hell in Judaism. There are far more differences than there are similarities. EDIT: "Messianic Judaism" isn't Judaism; it's Christianity. Only Christians believe Jesus was the son of God. That's blasphemous in Judaism, and there's nothing Biblical about it. Conservative Judaism also is NOTHING like Liberal Christianity. It's not liberal; it's almost the same thing as Orthodox Judaism, it just has a different ruling on halakha (Jewish religious law).

In one word: "Abraham".
Abraham is the common link to all three.

From the Cathechism Of The Catholic Church:

CCC 841 - "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham..."

CCC 839 - "...when she delves into her own mystery, the Church, the People of God in the New Covenant, discovers her link with the Jewish People, the first to hear the Word of God."

The God of Abraham is the God of Jews and Christians the Allah of Islam is not related.
God is not in need of forgiveness he is absolute righteousness.
Sin equals death it is not only a judgment but an eventuality.
this life will teach you that even if you do not believe in God.
All men do sin and all men do die.
The wages of sin is death.
God in his mercy did come ot this world to overcome temptation as a man and to remain perfect and to pay the penalty of death for all who accept the atonement.
Jesus was resurrected in glory overcoming sin and death for all of us who will accept his atonement for our sin.
The problem many have in knowing God is first they think themselves worthy of judging God then they attempt to mold God in to their beliefs.
There is no need to judge God which we are not capable of doing but knowing him will reveal the truth to you.

As an outsider looking in I don't see more differences than I see in three peas in a pod.

Ours (Christianity) is based on grace & faith alone.

The other 2 rely on works....which cannot save you.

So there are no similarities. We do not have a history of bloodshed. If anything, the bloodshed was AGAINST us within the first 3 or 4 centuries after the day of Pentecost.
And don't even try to mention the crusades.....those were not true born again believers who led that charge. The fruits of their labor were obvious.....and they were not Christians
