I dreamt that i was in bed, sleeping, and suddenly i feel like an invisible person attacks me, i feel them dropping me onto the ground and trying to kill me, even though i can't see them. i dreamt that i woke up screaming and telling my parents there was a ghost, but there was no one, and i had to go back to sleep very very unpeacefully, always waiting for someone or something to jump onto me again and attack.
what does this dream mean? in reality, i didn't scream or anything, it's just in the dream.
lately, i've been having dreams which i dreamt of myself being in a bad situation and actually feeling myself fighting back etc etc. as though it were real, and when i wake up i'll be extremely surprised that it wasn't...so what do these dream mean?

According to Dreamcrowd:
To see or talk to spirits in your dream, signifies your fears about death. The spirits may be trying to guide you through some issues or problems . Pay particular attention to the spirits as they may be an answer to a waking problem.
To dream of manslaughter, signifies fear and scandal.

I think it could be a combination of factors:-
You are possibly a very light sleeper and the action of turning over makes you feel as though you are being thrown to the ground and the constriction of the bed clothes as though someone is on top of you.
But also more importantly you are suffering a great deal of stress in some area of life at a guess some unresolved conflict or conflicts which you must address.
You've started to fight back in your dreams so I think you've made some inroads into those conflicts. Keep going!

I've had a similar experience feeling that a ghost was pinning me down in bed and snarled "go away" right in my face. It was very scary as I couldn't move. The weirdest thing was my hubbie woke up and told me he had dreamt the exact same thing and he's a sceptic! We did live in an old house so who knows. I know I sound crazy but I feel we are being passed messages on through our dreams. Maybe it means you have situations in life which you need to deal with head on and fight. I'm not experienced but this is just my insight.

Go away from the computer and the TV screen for a week at least. More purposeful physical excercises and work in the garden or kitchen then some small talk with friends and relatives, then a glass or two of good red wine if you are old enough and Then you can sleep in every position possible.

I would think the dream is either just a bad dream, or it means something else. Lemme guess lol. I'm pretty good with guessing dreams, I think.
There are problems drawing you in, and you can't stop them even if you find back. You don't know why the problems are yours, or even where they're coming from (invisible force) and because of that, you can think of no way to stop them.
They're getting too far, coming to you in your safe environment (bed in your dream).
Try and find the source of the problem.
In your dream, imagine the force as an image that you see alot, as if it's taking that form. Fight back, in your dream, and keep stopping the problem outside of your dream.
Of course, that's just a guess. I'm no proffessional.

some times dreams can be very potent.
When we are asleep our ears still hear what is going on and our mind takes this on as though we are personally involved.
It is a nuisance but that's us.
Ask you parents if the TV could be turned down low so that only they can hear it. This could be your experiement to get a full nights sleep. Let me know if it works.

One of the things that were no surprise to early psychologists was the level of fear that women held. One of the things that simply shocked some of the early psychologists was the amount of fear that men held, a surprisingly similar amount to women. From this they learned concepts like repression and transferrance, among other things.
The fascinating thing is that dreams often have distinct metaphoric or allusionary meaning. I think it simply means that, first, you are still afraid of the dark. You still find some measure of supporting sense to the notion you had in childhood (helped and embellished by popular entertainments, courtesy of Halloween stories and Hollywood), there are sinister people and dangerous things lurking, watching, waiting for a moment you least expect, when you are most vulnerable, and then they will do those dirty deeds they delight in.
Humans have long held this fear. Consider this portion of a passage in the Bible: "Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night" (Psalm 91:5, KJV).
There is a concept, a notion, that one thought chases away another thought. While it has gone to some simply rediculous extremes, there has long been an idea of the value of a positive mental attitude. One man, Clement Stone, became rich by using positive expressions to defeat his fears and energize his efforts, so it made him an immensely successful insurance salesman. Others, such as Norman Vincent Peale, a contemporary of Stone, literally preached happiness, much as Christian Science founder Mary Baker Eddy sold thousands on the idea that a positive attitude could heal people of their sickness. Medicine has long known of the psychosomatic principles behind the maladies that many people experience. Sometimes an illness or pain is in deed, as we used to say, "all in your head."
You've invented this boogeyman who jumps out of the dark, personifying your fears. Invent your knight in shining armor to stand guard and chase the bad guy away. Some with some sense of Christian experience call upon angels in a sort of bedtime prayer to stand guard over them. Those with real Judeao-Christian experience indeed pray, but realize the other words in Psalm 91, as it begins, "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress." I used this as a child, picturing God as some fierce medieval king, and I was his grandson, napping on his lap in the middle of some ancient castle. When I was feeling fearful at night, I would visualize that, and sleep soundly. Find your image of security and when you settle off to sleep, start there.

Some sort of situation is bothering you and perhaps is manifesting itself in dream form. It could even be related to something you watched on telly or at the cinema and it frightened you making you think subconsciously it will happen to you.
Try sleeping on your stomach if you can.

it sounds to me that there is a siutation in your life that you feel is pressuring you without you realising.
perhaps there are tight deadlines at work, someone at work being a bit off with you, problems at home etc.
a feeling of being attacked and waiting for it to happen again normally signals that something has already happened that has upset you, and you fear it happening again.
perhaps if you would like to email me, i can go through it with you in more detail.
