Self Discipline can only be learnt by yourself, I did a public service college course and went away with the army, navy - royal marines, police, fire and raf and by god you need discipline to operate in the forces. But simple things such as turning up to work 10 mins before shift, doing housework, getting up at set times and eating correctly regurlary and a varity are all simple ways of increasing a persons self discipline.
To be able to increase your self discipline you need to increase your self confidence, self esteem, organisational skills, teamwork and courage. Once you have gained all these aspects you need to maintain them. A good way of keeping discipline within yourself is to provide rewards and punishments, however you may choose to do this is your own choice.

Discipline is like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets. You don't use it, you lose it. Start with small tasks and push yourself to do it. Do some major positive self-talk and talk yourself into getting it done. Once you accomplish that first task your discipline will grow a little stronger for the next task. That's how it works.

Do the little things, picking up in the house, paying bills on time, mowing lawn, kissing or hugging loved ones, wash dishes, laundry. An old joke, "A Chicago University philosophy professor was contemplating a glass of water, 'If this is a glass of water, why is it a glass of water?' and died of thirst."

Use a spreadsheet to make a monthly planner for yourself. Print it out and post it up. Cross out what you have done and highlight what you have not done. Check your progress every week and award yourself if there is any improvement.

By having a purpose, a real purpose.
Without a real motive, an average person will not be able to put their mind set to do and finish something.

You need to be guided by your heart, not your mind.
