I feel terribly trapped by worldy possessions. I am in love with my boyfriend buy fear he may not be what God has in store for me because I feel emotionally barren sometimes. I need my love for God to help me make it through these tough times... please suggest some verses that may help me in this process. Thank you!

Titus 2:11-13 "Looking for the blessed hope; the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ"

There are countless more but....I don't want to hog all the space here with a long-winded post

Are you so lazy that you don't want to read for yourself ? Benny, God does not love lazy ones. Why do you think that your boyfriend is not what God has in store for you ? Think better. May be you are doing something wrong ? The faith is not to say " I believe " and that is all. The faith is a work, a labor. May God help you anyway.

< when I married.>> Actually, Catholics Are Christians. Therefore, you were already a Christian as a Catholic! < he is wrong.>> Okay. So she's a demanding contol-freak. < he loves her.>> The brothers understand that they have a right to their opinion - and that's all. This is HIS girlfriend and HIS relationship. You have to remember that his emotions have clouded his judgement. It's going to take him longer to figure out what you and the other brothers already know, alwasy assuming - of course - that you're right and he's wrong. You and your brothers are going to HAVE TO be patient. < for this situation?>> You mean you don't know? Aren't YOU the one who's been to all these marriage seminars? Just sayin'! < for the worse.>> If he's happy and he's in love, then leave it alone then. Just because his relationship doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean it can't be ideal for other people!!!!!!! < with his gf.>> He's happy. If she's happy as well, doesn't that suggest they've found a relationship that "works according to the Bible"? You see, you're NOT really looking for a relationship that works according to the Bible! How could you? You don't even know any Bible verses that pertain to the ideal marriage! What you're REALLY looking for is an opportunity to FORCE your personal ideal of a relationship upon your brother, and you're just hoping someone can help you by finding a Bible verse that might possibily appear to back up your personal ideal, even if it doesn't necessarily back up the Bible's ideal of marriage relationships! < like to fix.>> If she's REALLY as bad as you and your other brothers claim, just sit back and relax. Just be patient and give your brother time to figure it out for himself. You HAVE TO. It's the ONLY way he's going to be convinced for himself. You'd know that if only you knew as much about relationships as you think you do! Just use a little comon sense!

Greeting Friend,

Some verses that I enjoy are "I can do ALL thing through Christ Jesus, who strengthens me", and "And it came to past...

The one verse lets me know that I am not alone. I am not counting on my strength to make it but on Christ's In and of myself, I can do nothing, but through him, I can do anything. The other verse, notice it is not finished, is just to let you know that no matter what our problems are they will come to past. The sun will shine again. Tomorrow will come. I know I can make it through Christ's strength and all of my problems will come to past.

sending love,
