Because she wants your opinion, even though she knows she isn't going to do it, or maybe you should just say, I know what we can do for dinner, I'll cook you a oven stuffer roaster chicken with Stove Top stuffing and carrots on the side, than maybe you'll both be happy, she doesn't have to cook dinner, and you get what you want for dinner. Good Luck!

I'm guilty of doing that to my hubby too. Only he doesn't have one set thing he always wants. My brain freezes sometimes and I need ideas. Sometimes he'll come up with something we haven't had in ages and I'm like "Yes! That's it!" Other times it's "Can't, I don't have all the ingredients" or "Too late, that had to be started 3 hours ago." I think it's needing inspiration, she's also thinking of you and what you want, and she's probably sick of chicken and stuffing and hoping you'll say you've been craving something else! :)

Well a few things, she is looking for ideas on what to make for dinner. The fact that she doesn't follow your suggestion says to me that she just doesn't want to make anything that is that much work.
Don't wait for her to ask. Tell her its what you want before the weekend comes. Have her plan some time to set aside to make it. Make sure to let her know that you have been craving it and you really love the way she cooks it. Compliment her, make her feel good and ask for what you really want. I hope that helps.

Because we women are silly that way....We ask, but we really make what we want! Turn the table on her. Tell her you're going to make the chicken dinner, and she has to clean it up.
That may change her mind if she knows she has to clean up your BIG mess!! Come on you can cook that chicken. Good luck. Happy Eats!!

Maybe she doesn't know how to cook what you want. Ask her for a ham sandwich the next time and let us know what you get.
