Not all men were created equal in the first place. Can you truly suggest that a person with down syndrome is equal to an athletic genius? I can't.
Apart from that, you're right, I do tend to rate other Taoists as at least 30 IQ points ahead of anybody else, and speak to them with that prejudice in mind.

Well, the line says "all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." I would count freedom of religion as involving both liberty and the pursuit of happiness. But just to make sure, we also have the First Amendment to the Constitution. There's a very good reason why it was put first.

Yes, although being created equal we do not treat people as equals, religion itself does not treat other religions as equals, some have boasted recently that they are the only one and true religion we will never be equal until the kingdom of God has been established.

All people are of equal value to God. I, therefore, am obligated to value all people equally as well, regardless of their faith.
I'm not always successful at that obligation, regardless of whether they agree with me in matters of faith or not. I don't have a great deal of respect for racists, the deliberately ignorant, or anyone who treats other people violently. They are still people of value, but they have chosen to debase themselves, like a man using a Ming Vase for a spitoon.
None of this has a direct relationship with their choice of religion, though. The fact that a man chooses to follow the teaching of the Buddah or of Mohammed does not reduce his value any more than the value of a pound note would be reduced by spending it on a comic book rather than spending it on Chaucer. But if I could have that note back I would, just as I would have that man follow Christ if it were my choice rather than his.

not Biblical. Per the Bible - all men are not created equal. Only Noah (and family) found favor with God when the Flood came. Job was tested by Satan because of His strong faith. God spoke to Moses in prophecy to guide the "chosen" people (at that time). Jesus Christ was miraculous and PERFECT. These men were obviousily not equal to other men their age.
Some people are created with handicaps, some without, some with deformities, some without, some with different intelligences, different shapes, colors and with different creeds. We are not all created equal. God created each of us uniquely!

they make themselves inferior by becoming religious.Jesus came to set us free from bondage and false god worshipping,who teaches a pie in the sky when you die.Jesus was murdered by the church whose followers eyes he was trying to open to beware of ..read mathew 23 read john 8 verse 44 read 2 thes 2 verse 4 and read john 10 verse 33 to 36.gods onlyworship through love for one another.we are the gods .when you become religious,that means you give up your godliness to worship someone higher. and the one higher than you is the devil. not God almighty.that is why the bible is telling us that the devil is trying to build his kingdom above the kingdom of God. Jesus told us that the kingdom of heaven is inside of us,and if you know Jesus then you know God and if you eccept Jesus that you will also become like God and not just be a god anymore read john 17 verse 21

Any religion that claims sole possession of God is False. God is for All because God is All IN All. Inferior and Superior are human judgments and not applicable to God.
