Sending food items through an x-ray machine will not do anything to the food and the food will not contain radioactivity after it passes through the x rays. There are no short-term or long-term effects on the food or for you.

If anything is alive in the food, a bacterium and such, it will most likely be killed. The food itself will go through undamaged.

You can see the bones in the fish, I suppose. Aside from that, nothing. The amount of radiation is miniscule.
