walk so that you get your heart rate up to 160 beats per minutes or so. Get a gym membership and walk for half an hour on an incline of 6 or 7 at about 3.7 - 4 miles an hour. Count how many times your heart beats in 15 seconds and multiply that by 4. That's your ideal fat burning heart rate. Also do the stair master... that is an intense workout for your legs and butt.

Do not do crunches or ab work outs. Those just build muscle. The six pack you'll be making from the ab work outs will just push out the fat if you don't do cardio. I made that same mistake myself for about a year. I had great abs but you couldn't tell because I never did any walking or running so I had a nice gut to conceal it.

I learned all this from my dad's cardiologist, who is also a health nut.

If you can't get a gym membership just go for a jog around your house for a half hour or so 3/4 times a week.... also cut down on sugar. Stored up sugar converts into fat. I stopped drinking soda pop and I lost 5 pounds in like a week or two.

Also make your blood more alkaline based (this can be accomplished by eating more vegetables and fruits) Meat makes your blood more acidic based, which slows your metabolism. Beans are very alkaline rich. Also if you eat smaller meals more frequently, that is also supposed to speed up your metabolism.

I learned all that diet stuff from my doctor.

Also, although energy drinks aren't very good for you, guarana speeds up your metabolism, so energy drinks that are rich in guarana are going to contribute to weight loss to a small extent.

push ups just exercise your back muscles and weights will help you build bicep, tricep, shoulder, and chest muscles.... none of which are going to directly cause you to lose fat.

If you're already buff, you can gain more definition by doing more reps with smaller weight.

If all else fails (and you would definitely need to consult your doctor) you may have thyroid problems (which affects metabolism) or they can just prescribe you drugs like dexydrine.

Hope that helps.

Good luck!

Hello,, I suggest you start taking daily walks for about 20 minutes to start, then after you become accustom to the routine extend the time until you become addicted to walking daily and watch you regain your health and physical stamina, also you will lose weight along with the body fat. BUT you must learn to eat healthy too. Eating smaller portions several times a day will help. Not every 30 minutes though. Can you dig it! The easy way to good health is just like a small child learning to walk, little steps at a time until you learn to run. :)

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic! Get started today!

love handles are VERY hard to loose but its very possable the first thing you gotta do it eat right this means BETTER carbs like wheat bread and brown rice (everyone needs carbs in there life cuz if you cut that out in total you loose alot of energy) do alot of running and sports the more you sweat the better drink lots of water and do lots of sit ups it takes time but its well worth it and one last thing dont worry about push ups yet do more running and when you lose weight push ups will be alot easier
