....from my Daily Devotional this morning I Corinthians 1: 18-25.

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."

Isn't this scripture at the heart of all the Q&A on R&S?

"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."

And wouldn't you hate to be an unbeliever on Judgment Day?

"...the world through wisdom did not know God...."

Are we here today fulfilling Biblical prophecy....or do we have a real chance to save more lost souls with our testimony....or is making fun of ATHEISTS just good clean fun?!?

I wouldn't go as far as saying that but.......you gotta admit, the devil runs rampant here on Yahoo, no?

I've learned so much about how non-believers feel in my year of being on this answers board.........

It's so sad.........people need Christ badly.

Vague? Really? Mark 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations. The Bible has been translated into all known languages. Yes, even Esperanto. The Bible is the first book to arrive "hot off a printing press". The Bible is the most studied book in the history of mankind. Here is a quote from a man who spoke 45 languages and researched the Bible for most of his life. "I may add that the result of my 45 years of study of the Bible has led me all the time to a firmer faith that in the Old Testament, we have a true historical account of the history of the Israelite people." Robert Wilson Here's what you do. Because right now you are like a guy with his lips around an exaust pipe wondering why a car does not work. Confess your sins to God. Just speak out right now and start telling Him how you have messed up and let Him down. How you have taken all your gifts and returned nothing but spite to Him. If you need a list of what He hates, go to Proverbs chapter 6 and you will see a great one. Proverbs 6:16-19 16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Now repent and ask Jesus Christ to come into your life. Pick up the first book off a printing press and start reading it like the love letter from God to you that it is. Stay in God's Word each day. I know you post this question often. I speak more to anyone who might wander across it than to your hard and robotic heart.

R&S certainly proves 1 Corinthians 1:18-25.

I would hate to be an unbeliever on Judgment Day. But we each have that choice and I choose to believe. If I'm wrong, I lose nothing. If unbelievers are wrong, they lose alot.

Whenever and wherever we talk about faith, we're dropping seeds. Most will fall on unfertile ground as they do here. But a few will germinate. And that's one reason we do this. I also post here to reproach those who claim homophobia is "loving."

R&S does demonstrate the truth of some prophetic Scriptures.

2 Timothy 4:3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

is making fun of ATHEISTS just good clean fun?!?

Making fun of atheists goes against what the Bible teaches Christians to do.

2 Timothy 2:23 Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. 24 And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

Yes it does fulfill Biblical prophecies.

You consider that a prophecy? LOL. You obviously haven't studied other religions. Their man-written books say the same thing. How much of a "prophecy" can it be to say that other people of another religious persuasion will disagree with my particular flavor of religion? That's more of a "duh, big red truck" than it is prophecy. Get a grip. All scripture is is the writings of man.

I don't make fun of atheists...there is nothing remotely humorous about the staunch unwillingness to see the truth. Arrogance, conceit and self-ordained deification is the height of folly for those folks and I can't imagine the horror on their faces when it all comes down...the Angels will weep and knash their teeth for them...Love in Christ, ~J~

It reflects it for sure.

? are you suggesting that the Bible speaks truths?
and the negative reflections of God and Christians were foretold? hmm

Remember, your faith is a gift.

I doubt Noah and his family laughed at those who would not listen.

as far as "good clean fun", as Bugs Bunny would say:
"This means WAR!"

I think R&S is fulfilling Biblical Prophecy. I saw four horsemen on here earlier.

"I will have mercy, not sacrifice."

It's fine to speak, but I think that misrepresentation is a rather risky thing to be doing at this time.
