Hi All,
This is aijaz .Can somebody help me to calculate the daimeter of a cone by giving only length. for example

I do not understand the referenced example.

The length of a cone element has no direct bearing on the diameter of a cone. It will be a factor in the cone height, but only the cone diameter is already known from other data.
The only length from which to directly calculate the cone diameter is the lenght of the cone circumference at the base.

locate the area of the circle that makes the backside ( pi * r^2) and multiply by the size. To get the radius, divide the diameter in one million/2. Your equation might look like 10.6((3.14)(.6)^2)
