Adobe Acrobat is the best and (i think) the most expensive PDF creator around. Or get an alternative such as Omnipage or PrimoPDF. All these software should have a common function to open Word files and save as PDF, or by inserting a menu into Word to create PDF from just one click. Or get Office 2007 and download a free plugin available from download.microsoft.com.

You need software to be able to create a PDF file. Go to http://download.com and look for a free program called CutePDF. (Or you can spend a couple hundred bucks for Adobe Acrobat).
Once installed, you will be able to create a PDF file from any program. I normally use Word to create the file. Once you have a Word version of the file, what you do is "print" it.
Once CutePDF is installed, you will have an option under your printer selections for "PDF File". You simply change your printer to be "PDF Ffile", and "print" the document. Windows will actually write the file to your hard drive as a PDF instead of printing it.
In the future if you need to edit the document, you edit the original Word (or what program you used) document, and then "print" it back to the PDF file.

Some of them: Nova PDF creator, FINEPRINT PDFFACTORY PRO ENTERPRISE V5.27
They are virtual printers. For creating PDF from a document you must simply push "print" button. Then choose this virtual driver and click 'Ok'. The dialog of file saving will appear.
