Beefroots? I eat only fruit, vegetables and sometimes no fat curds but even I won't eat raw beets.

Well if you can..try it in the right presentation. I wouldn't just get one and start eating it..find out how to prepare it so you can enjoy it! Give it a try..it won't kill ya.

I just ate a raw beet. It was crunchy and sweet. I have a new question. Why would you not eat beets

I don't see why not. Grated finely and tossed into a nice green salad with a bit of goat cheese and a vinagrette it's quite tasty. Nice bit of crunch, nice source of vitamins and fiber, and it doesn't taste strong at all. You really ought to try it. I much prefer them raw in salad to cooked and slathered in all that thick goo, or even buttered for that matter. Pickled in small amounts is acceptable, but raw is best for me.

No. i generally dont like canned foods and normally eat fresh but beetroot is one of the few foods that i prefer canned and do not like the taste of fresh. another is asparagus.

Probably not unless it has an exceptional pickling method (such as a Japanese pickling solution.)
