Is there any special bed which could convert to toilet bowl when she is ready. Also how to clean her, does it require a big pan under the bed. what hospital do with patients who has to defecate on bed

We had a porta-potty right next to our grandmother's bed -- she was able to move that far (shift from the bed to the toilet). This was best.

If she is bedridden (can't get out of bed), then some sort of diaper is best. There are disposable diapers, or you could make some out of soft fabric. Use wet towels (disposable, if possible) to clean her. Wipe from front to back. If she gets a rash, you can try zinc oxide.

Talk to your doctor for more advice. Depending on where you live, he might be able to help you get cheap or used toilets, bedpans, etc.

There are Depends they are basically diapers for adults and there a bedside komodes as well as bed pans that can be used as a toilet.
