REMINGTON STEELE
From Episode 1 to the end, I was a fan of this show. I still have the whole thing on videotape. Pierce Brosnan was dazzling, and Stephanie Zimbalist was a good match. It was like an old-time Hollywood film much of the time, with witty dialogue, rather fluffy adventures (nothing dire

For me, The A-Team was too clownish. I am not a George Peppard fan. I do like Dirk Benedict, and a couple of my friends were and still are crazy about Dwight Scultz. I tried watching it from time to time, mainly for guest stars such as Judson Scott and Robert Vaughn. I liked the addition of Eddie Velez but still never tuned in regularly.

I also am a fan of MacGyver, Miami Vice (which holds up in reruns), 21 Jump Street (ditto), The Wonder Years, War of the Worlds (where I first saw Adrian Paul *sigh*), Voyagers!, Moonlighting, Manimal (I taped a marathon and loved it when the character cropped up on Night Man), Riptide, and Hardcastle & McCormick. I still am a fan of V~the two miniseries and the series (which suffered from budget cuts). Does anyone remember Wizards & Warriors? The cast included Duncan Regehr, Jeff Conaway, Julia Duffy, Randi Brooks, Clive Revill and Ian Wolfe.

There were many great shows. People who say Cheers, I have no problem with that choice. A-Team, I certainly enjoyed it at the time, though I am not sure how well it holds up.

Since I think "holding up" is an important factor to consider great shows, I would go with Golden Girls. Its not that it is still enjoyed by its original fans, but it really has gotten a younger generation that didn't watch it when it first ran hooked on it. Just look at all the college kids watching it on Lifetime.

The A-Team, Air Wolf, Knight Rider, Street-Hawk.
Or for cartoons Thunder cats, Visionaries, Centurions, Mask, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, The Smurfs, the list is long and distinguished.

It's GOT to be the A-Team.

Programs like Knight Rider were really good, and we made some cracking shows here too - someone mentioned Desmonds, which was very funny - but The A-Team rules!

The A Team was great, but MacGyver used to solve it all on his own and at the time was quite cute, he could fix anything with a hairpin and 2 bits of string.

Have to agree - The A-Team!

I have to agree with you there, mind you MC Guyver was a close second. I used to love watching Wrestling on a Saturday afternoon with the likes of Giant Haystacks and Big Daddy

I really love cheers, even to this day.

Star Trek the Next Generation is another one of my favorites, but it only spent 3 of its 7 years in the 80s, so really it can't be counted.

But you can't drum down the passion of a hardcore trekkie!
