Yes we are created in God's image and likeness in both physical and spiritual likeness in the beginning but when man disobeyed God and sinned, only the physical likeness remains the same with God except God's glory. The spiritual likeness of God in us dies because of disobedience. God had seen it that's why He sent His Son Jesus to redeem us from sin. His ultimate sacrifice at the cross paid the penalty of our disobedience. That's why anyone who will accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior will be renewed and our spiritual likeness with God will be restored.

Adam & Eve (as a couple, not as individuals) were created in God's image. They marred that image with the first act of disobedience, and from that day forward we (humankind) have come short of the image and likeness of God.
The image and likeness of God is a spiritual term rather than a corporeal one.
And the reason I specify Adam and Eve as a couple is because Adam was incomplete without Eve; it is through our union that we are complete. Ephesians 5:22-33 builds on this concept, when it states that marriage is God's metaphor for the relationship between Christ and his followers.

We were not created by some man in the sky. Read a science book instead of that book of superstition, myth, contradiction, bigotry and lies you call the Bible.

If one was created by God according to his image and likeness, you wouldn't see him down with a common flue virus, you wouldn't see so much cruelty in the world and top of all, if god is `only one' how can he have billions of different images? think about it. You all would be looking identical with only one sex. (Reproduction would not happen....aaaaah!!!)
You are a product of natural evolution and that's a truth. All you require is a brave heart to accept it.

We have qualities that God does...
Not in the % of God, because he is PERFECT.
Humans are not, and can not compare with Him in any way.
