The Song of Solomaon is NOT erotic. Yeah right, if you believe some people.
There were very erotic writtings in the Pyramid Texts of pre-Dynistic Egypt. Much older than the culture which Soloman was in.
And Chines stuff too.
And you should take a look at some petroglyphs with your question in mind. Maybe not 'literature', but certainly messages.

I found the erotic and suggestive writings in Solomon to be one of the only loving and well written books in the bible. Anyone who says it's not erotic, clearly has not read it!
There are many other erotic texts penned before that, Kama Sutra has been mentioned, was Rumi before that period as well?
Most of note for me would be the many petroglyphs in the american southwest, which often date back 10,000+ years. These often clearly depict some erotic things... I'll find a link...

No, there's much older erotic art than that. The songs of Solomon are really about the Dragon bloodline and their ritual of body fluid intake. It will curl your toenails when you know what it's really about. Whoosh! Sweet. We should be so lucky.
