Oh, please, as if Christians are the only ones who use "circular logic."
Sure, some of us, perhaps even many, say the Bible is the word of God because the Bible SAYS it's the word of God.
On the other hand, many atheists say that their science textbooks are 100% true because the scientists who wrote them SAY they're true.
Circular logic? Yup. Every person should research EVERYTHING independently to make up their minds...and since there's no such thing as a non-biased source, that would mean reading both sides in order to make up one's mind.
Does EVERYONE who has an opinion on anything do this? No. Not even close.

Hmmm. Let's see, let's see. How about this?
"Whatever is said by Joseph Smith is true, on the grounds that the book of Mormon states that Joseph Smith is a true prophet; and what the book of Mormon states is true, on the grounds that Smith received it from God; and that Smith received it from God on the grounds that Smith says he received it from God."
The weakness of the argument known as "petitio principii" ( vicious circle, begging the question, etc) lies in the fact that it assumes what is being argued for.
One should never argue A on the strength of B, and B on the strength of C if you're going to argue C on the strength of A. It's a framing device in argument, and prosecutors use it all the time to blow a bunch of BS past the jury.

Here's one example:
Geologists claim that various strata of the earth's crust are so many million years old, because the fossilized critters there lived that many million years ago.
Biologists claim that the same critters lived so many million years ago, because that's how old that particular strata of the earth's crust is.
Both assume the other is right, without ever checking where the other one got their facts in the first place. And that's circular logic.
I happen to know where the original estimates came from, but many Christians don't. They assume that this argument is actually happened. But by giving them an example of circular logic that they use to attack nonbelievers, it makes it easier to track it down in their own beliefs.

Christian: God is real.
Victim: How do you know God is real?
Christian: Because the bible says so.
Victim: How do you know what the bible says is true?
Christian: Because the Bible is the Word of God and God doesn't lie.
Victim: How do you know THAT?
Christian: Because the Bible says so.
