In Israel, handguns are the only type of firearms that most private citizens may own. They are licensed for self-defense purposes to eligible individuals. Current regulations limit licenses to one handgun and 50 cartridges per licensee.

aside from the few components, like huge apple city, the place handguns are banned, you are able to answer your door with a handgun on your hand, of direction, that's criminal. A hid weapons license is barely for once you're no longer on your individual homestead, in public components. Many here will say you are able to no longer yet they're completely incorrect. Now, what you do after answering the door perhaps yet another element completely. maximum police departments, in huge cities, will decide some thing so you may be charged with, besides the reality that that's criminal to hold a gun on your place and consistently has been.

You have to go through courses to show you know how to use it, and have to get a medical confirmation (mental and physical) and get a gun permit from the ministry of interior - (department of weapon licensing) which has very strict and narrow rules - which you can't get unless you have a good reason to keep a gun(such as: police men, army men, your life is in danger due to certain circumstances)
Otherwise it's totally Illegal! and the police can arrest you by the law of holding of firearm weapon + no one will sell it to you because you have to show valid permits in the stores that sell.
and if you are caught without a permit or if it's not valid or if you have gained a gun by illegal ways you will face trail, and have a criminal record open on you.

Yes it is illegal to have any type of handgun. You could face some serious charges for obtaining a handgun in which the U.S. Embassy cannot help you out.
