it seems like every body have the same theroy about the war ,i guess we won't really kow untl 20 yrs from now .

It would be nice if had been told the truth of why we were really going into iraq. you know like.
We want to invade iraq to have a strategic place to spread democracy from and to ensure our oil supplies. all sorts of reasons were given pre war......but the two above was not on the list.

My theory is that if congress actually declared war, it would be over faster. It would also end quickly if the democrats used their simple majority in both houses of congress to not fund the war.

Just to build off kneeslide12 response. We still have troops in South Korea. The cease fire was signed 50 years ago.

And no we will not be leaving Iraq any time soon.
