Heart Syndrome is that what is asked for?...If that is what you are asking for consider my answer but if not, disregard my answer.

There is a certain congenital defect called "hypoplastic left heart syndrome" which refers to some describe heart defects where the the lower left ventricle is very small; aortic valve and mitral valve on the left side of the heart don’t work properly, and and the aorta is smaller than normal.

Anyway, no need for the details on that for I guess you are after the heart syndrome which is specifically called "Broken Heart Syndrome".

The term broken heart has been a folkloric term used for decades. Researches had been done to find out an explanation to such condition.

“BROKEN HEART” SYNDROME had been described as reversible heart failure that is not a classic heart attack or a severe but reversible heart muscle weakness that mimics a classic heart attack caused by sudden emotional stress or shock.

A certain overwhelming stress causes a sudden increase of secretion of stress hormones (adrenalin or epinephrine and noradrenaline or norepinephrine) into the blood stream that temporarily “stun” the heart. An excited nervous system may also produce small proteins called metabolites upon the breakdown of those hormones. Those chemicals (the stress hormones and their metabolites) can be temporarily toxic to the heart, effectively stunning the muscle and producing symptoms similar to a typical heart attack. Symptoms manifested includes chest pain, fluid in the lungs, shortness of breath and heart failure.

For instance, a bad news on sudden death of a loved one, or a sudden "break up" from a lover could cause a broken heart syndrome or in most commonly used term- "heart attack".

Though such syndrome is reversible and have quick recovery, it can be potentially deadly as well.

Hart Syndrome also known as Hartnup disease is a rare metabolic disorder inherited as an autosomal recessive trait. It involves an inborn error of amino acid metabolism as well as niacin deficiency. Factors that may precipitate acute attacks of this disorder may include poor nutrition, exposure to sunlight, sulphonamide medications and/or psychological stress. Hartnup disease may be marked by skin problems, coordination impairment, vision problems, mild mental retardation, gastrointestinal problems, and central nervous system abnormalities. Frequency of attacks usually diminishes with age.

It is a vitamin deficiency that presents very much like Pellagra.
