I would not. Even if I did believe in his existence, I would spend an eternity in Hell to have my family.

We all will chose to do this when we die. We are giving up what we love the most (our life) in order to be with God.

Of course, Jesus paid it all so that I could know God- but in order to draw close to Him, I have to give up self- which is to most of us, the most important thing- and I pray that is what I do.

Morganie...it depends what it is b/c God wants us to have pleasure and love in our life...now if it were something sinfull then that is a no brainer YES b/c you can't live in sin and experience all he has for you he may keep you but you could be unstoppable if you experienced him thouroughly...but maybe I would b/c I just realized there are to be no idols or anything above him and if something is so heavy in my life I give it more time than him then that is wrong and I would have to rearrange and put him first...my final answer is YES I want him that bad...he is worth that...

Hmm...well if it's something physical like an item...yes.
But out of everything, I love Jesus the most and to give Him up would be to give up God and knowing God. ;)

Yes. And the one thing I would give up is my selfish pride which I must dearly love or I would not have had it for so long.

Absolutely not.If I was shown to be wrong and the biblical god does exist,I would never want to have anything to do with such a malevolent and evil being.
