Many churches teach this, but the Bible says that no man can “accept” Christ because all men are spiritually dead:
We read in Ephesians 2:1 And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.

The problem is that the Bible declares that man is spiritually dead in sin and totally incapable of mustering up faith in himself to salvation:
And there is none that calleth upon Thy Name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of Thee:… (Isaiah 64:7)
There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. (Romans 3:11)
No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him:… (John 6:44)

God has written the Bible in order to bring us to a knowledge of our wretched condition; and also to show us that salvation is absolutely not within man’s ability to achieve. God Himself must do all the work in the matter of saving the sinner:

When His disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:25-26)

As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. (Romans 9:13-15)

Salvation is a gift from God, and man cannot earn it in any way, but that does not mean that there is nothing that we must do in order to receive that gift!

In Mark 16:16, for example, Jesus said, “He that believes and is baptized shall be saved.”

In the Old Testament, there is something that is described as a “gift” from God more than any other thing. This gift was the Promised Land that was given to the children of Israel.

There were things that God’s people had to do, however, to receive this gift! They had to march around Jericho, cross the Jordan, etc. Likewise, there are many examples where God’s people went into battle, but it says God gave them the victory and the land that was conquered!

If I told you I was going to give you a million dollars and that to receive it you had to show me some identification (so I was sure I was giving it to the correct person), take a check, endorse it, and present it at my bank for cashing, it would be ridiculous for you to say that you had earned the money. Just because there were specifications on how the gift was to be received, that does not make it any less a free gift!

The Promised Land was a gift from God, but there were some things that the Israelites had to do to receive it.

Likewise, God has specified the things we must do in order to receive the gift of salvation! We have not earned salvation. We do not have the capacity to earn it, but there are some conditions we must meet to receive it!

Jesus is “the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him!” (Hebrews 5:9)

(Does your church lie to you by telling you there is nothing you must do?)

"Choose you this day whom ye will serve" (Joshua 24:15)

I understand where you are coming from as well. We can not add even the slightest bit to our salvation, including the popular "accepting Christ", which many if not most Christian denominations will concentrate on. Instead, it's all from God through Christ. You quoted Romans 9 in your additional details, keep reading through to Romans 11. There in verses 16-21 it talks about us being grafted into Christ (the ultimate passive thing, a shoot has nothing to do where/how/when the gardener grafts it). But then it also continues about the need for faith. The old branches were broken off, and we (new testament believers) stand by faith. This faith of course, is once again a pure gift, but nevertheless necessary, and commanded by God many times in Scripture.

I believe fully the Word of God, but I also subscribe to what are called the Three forms of Unity as faithful summaries of the Word of God. They deal with these questions (incuding God's sovereignty, man's responsibility, election (and its necessary counterpart, reprobation), quite thoroughly. See the source below. I hope this helps

Salam There isn't any proof at the face of the earth that when you be given whatever right here or that got here right here that your stored simply in that second of revelation. A human have to return and repair the knots that wherein made after which repent sincerily to Allah SWT or The Lord as you desire arabic or english. The sheer truth stays that if he's the course then you definately must cross on that course and also you simply do not do this through accepting a person or whatever that got here. I can occur via accepting the One and most effective Lord and on the way to start the method. You stroll to Allah SWT and he's going to run to you, however be able for the trial for there's assessments the entire approach via the lifetime of a believer and non believer alike.

I understand what you are saying- that even faith is a gift from God- however , I will say one thing. You can agree with me or not- but how do you receive the gift of faith, grace, salvation etc from Christ- you have to accept it. Everyone does not receive salvation through Christ- why? Because they do not accept that gift.
