No, I think convenience is the primary reason for abortions.
People don't want to disrupt their life & accept the consequences of their actions.

I think you might be using a little hyperbole there. But still I get your point. I would say - personally - that neither a staunch pro-life nor a staunch pro-choice position are compatible with a Christian point of view, if for no other reason than that Christians have a duty to care for the weak and the oppressed - and that would include BOTH the mother and the child in this case. There's no way to reconcile the Love of Christ with a political position that exploits the weakness of one side or the other for the sake of temporal power.
(Also, interestingly, Life itself is not an ultimate good in classic Christianity. There are things worth laying down one's life for, just as Christ laid down his life.)
Peace to you.

It's hard to say a Xtian is pro-life when you consider all the wars fought because of religion. Is it more important to kill a baby than an adult? I don;t think an Xtian can speak without becoming a liar at some point. Too bad.........

Yeah, go ahead and blame us, for the 4,000 abortions a day in America alone. Christians do have abortions but that does not mean the majority of abortions are done by Christians. I have counseled both Christians and non-Christians who are contemplating abortion , or have had one or more- and I can tell you your statistics are way off. You tell us that we generalize and live in denial. WOW!!

I don't see any irony, really. Your problem and the problem of most liberals is that you don't understand that it's better to stand for the right things even if you're a hypocrite, than to blatantly stand for wrong and evil like liberals do.
Now, I see that we have another blithering idiot a few posts below, comparing aborting the innocent to the death penalty for murderers.

yes it also occurs to me that their warlike nature is possibly just a second chance for those who missed on the earlier abortion. Ironic is the word .
