Every day is potentially your last day. There is nothing superstitious about that fact.It is part of the laws of nature that all biological lifeforms must die. And, so, if you're a "the cup is half empty" kind of person, then this is the last days of your life.

The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell, and this time may be very near. There is much Biblical evidence that points to the fall of 2011 as the end of the world.

And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be TIME NO LONGER:
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. Revelation 10:5-7

I know I've answered this one .... *hunts around* .. ah, yes. Yesterday.
The last days, or end of days, is something that's preached by the followers of the evangelistic traditions of Christianity that concentrate heavily on death, and the promise of judgement in the Book of Revelations. The smug self-righteousness is annoying and just turns people off what they are trying to preach.
Paraphrasing a few sentiments heard on this board:
- you are going to Hell if you don't believe what I believe
- the rapture is coming, I'll go to heaven and you'll all be left behind to burn
- my way is right, yours is wrong
It's saddening that these people can not see the sanctity and beauty of the world in which they live. They could work to improve things on this world, yet they are so focussed on the next that this world is neglected. It seems that the sentiment is that it doesn't matter what happens to this world as they're going to heaven - the quicker this world is destroyed then the quicker judgement day will come and I'll have my perfect life.

There's no way to know this because it was sealed up to the end and only the Father knows the day and hour. If in fact it is the end times then who is the global power? The USA is the ONLY super power people. Are you trying to say that the one world government will in all likelihood be the USA?
What Jesus said was there will be wars and earthquakes but don't worry that's not the sign.
When this Gospel is preached throughout the world then the end will come.
Just some things to consider even though it's of NO consequence because it's all about the kingdom of God that's in us and NOT about prophecy. The big deal is love one another but that's rare as bird teeth.

The Bible prophecies are clear that we are living in what is called the last days.
The last days refer to the ending of a period of time.
This period of time was provided to allow righteous people to show if they wish to follow the way of Satan's world (and his religions) or if they desire to follow the one true God who is Jehovah.
Also it was to prove Satan a lier in the question of who had the right to rule over creation.
By observing the horrible state of the world that we live in we can see what it is like to be under Satan's governing.
Soon it will be enough time , and God will step in.
Not only to remove Satan and his demons , but all people that have failed to reject Satan and his world of false religion.
ONLY by bringing our life into harmony with Gods will today can we have a chance to be saved from the coming great day of Armageddon.
This means that we have to live by what the Bible REALLY teaches and reject the filthy pagan doctrines of false religion.
For information on how to do this or any other Bible question ,., plz feel free to email me.

Compare a study of the meaning of the symbols of Revelation to the nightly CNN news and see for yourself! Hal Lindsey has written several good books on the subject. One titled, "The Rapture" gives great detail about many things the Bible said had to come to pass beforehand and since that book was published in the early 80's much of it has come to pass! Granted, several of the things listed came to pass before the book was written, but Scripture was provided to back up the historical claims.

we've been living in the "last days" for at least 4800 years.
According to Isaac Asimov's Book of Facts (1979), an Assyrian clay tablet dating to approximately 2800 BC was unearthed bearing the words "Our earth is degenerate in these latter days. There are signs that the world is speedily coming to an end. Bribery and corruption are common." This is one of the earliest examples of the perception of moral decay in society being interpreted as a sign of the imminent end.

People have thought so for the last 2000 years or so. The "signs" aren't really any more obvious than they've been, but with the increased population, it sort of makes you wonder how much more the world can take.
