I've read many questions On Yahoo Answers about the Second Coming. Such as: What's Jesus doing now? Watching telly and eating biscuits?

I am reminded of the film called: The Crazies.
The population are infected with a disease that makes them go crazy - military rule is imposed. A professor finds a vaccine... but before he can deliver it, he is knocked to the ground by the crazies- his precious test-tube crushed.

Nowadays everyone is cynical. Perhaps rightly so. We have a lot to be cynical about.

But what if the long awaited message... of tremendous importance... exists - it is there - but isn't getting through - the voices, always negative, drown out the word...

What if its all a bunch of crap? Then we'd be right to ignore this Second Coming nonsense.

What I find simply humorous is that the "non-believers" come into the Religion section at all.

Let me ask this important question. If there is NO afterlife then NO ONE has anything to worry about - right? BUT what if there is? Then those that are preparing for it will be ready, and those that aren't - simply won't. It is always more logical to be prepared for an event, then to be let-down because you weren't prepared.

Do we take long trips without having all of the necessary things we need? Gas? Food? etc.. Do we travel only half way and say to ourselves "We don't need to go any further?"

Christians realize that there is a destination that we are going to take later on, and we are getting prepared for it. The ones that don't believe go through life and NOT worrying about it. ONLY after death does one realize whether or not their faith was right. This isn't the lottery. There is NO second chance. Are you ready for the second coming? If you don't believe in Christ - what would you do when you meet Him face to face? If we only exist on this plane, and when we die we face nothing then no matter which way you believe we all won't be let-down.

Religion isn't about thought or intelligence. It is about faith, about emotions, - simply about believing from the heart..

The 'long awaited message' has always been here. It is very important. Jesus said that he will return and take His followers to His Father's house. When the end days come, the negative voices will be drowned out or put aside until everyone hears the choice they have to make.

In recent times, people have been warned about impending hurricanes, and you'd think they'd heed going by the facts and near precise accuracy of previous forecasts, but the human heart is deceitful above all things;people will still wait to see what happens which is also an indication of human foolishness.
Just like in the days of Noah, and the flood is historically proven, many shall be caught unawares, and by the time time they try to reach out it will be too late for them, the best a christian can do is to ensure that everyone receives this gospel truth,so that in that day no one shall have an excuse.
For whoever is to be saved shall be saved and whoever is to perish shall perish...

Free falling from heaven to the Dome of the Rock, I wonder how many cameras are set up and if they actually will spot him coming. You know what is hallarious, they say they are Jesus or the second coming of and they don't even know that he is going to return that way. LOL! That is totally hallarious.

I met a man named Larry, huge colored dude, he said he was Jesus himself, I said oh you been to Jerusalem, he said no never been there. Then began talking about a women and her booty. He was definatly Jesus (not) :)

With the advent of the internet he'd have a much bigger audience awating his message than the first time around that's for sure.

No doubt he'd sign up for Facebook, YouTube and probably even appear here on Yahoo Answers!!!!

The truth about Jesus is not rare, and does not reside in test tubes. It's not Hollywood or Ballywood, it's not hidden, and it's not hard to get to. It's in the Bible. Why do people miss the obvious?

jesus and watching and waiting . when he does come he will take the people who beieved in him and leave the rest tobe fooled by satan who will try to be like jesus and fool many fools. But god will have people onthe earth to tell people the way to salvaction it's your choice to believe on not to believe. and at the end jesus will take down satan andall the believe will go to be with jesus. one day every man and women will bow and admit that is he the lord. even satan will and all his angles that followed him.

The so-called second coming of Jesus is perhaps one of the tall stories in the scriptures.Rather, is is God who is to come to purify the impure and take them back home with Him.

My love, Jesus already came...one alive and the second before to go to heaven, and the third in the soul of Christianity...how many times you want him to come?

I agree. For the Dark Lord Sauron threatens Middle-Earth, and only through the Word can he be defeated, and the ring destroyed.
