No, don't feel bad. It's a hard movie, it's supposed to make an impact. And it obviously has. If you really want to see it all, you may want to watch what you can, then take a break from it for a while (a few weeks maybe) then pick up where you left off. When I watched it, I felt it was important to watch it, but at times it did take me aback. But the good parts, especially the Ben Kingsley scenes, they were what helped keep me going.
I haven't watched too many Holocaust movies, but in 10th or 11th grade I did my research paper on Auschwitz and even though it wasn't extensive, what I read made such an impact on me that when I was about 80% done I had to take a break and I didn't want to go back. Even the place I wrote it holds memories that I can't shake.
I think it's important that we don't forget what happened, and that we make ourselves learn about it, to the extent we can take it. But we shouldn't push ourselves to take in more than we can. Even if you don't finish Schindler's List, skip to the end, when it's in color. It's a fitting conclusion to the movie.

No, don't feel bad for being too sensitive to sit through hours of torture. I refused to go see Passion of the Christ because I knew the ending and never liked it the FIRST time!
I hate Nazi movies because my dad fought in the 2nd World War and if a black and white war movie came on TV, it didn't matter WHAT anyone ELSE wanted to watch, the war movie stayed on to the end. I think he wanted to relive the horror AND the triumphs over again and again, and who was I to judge him. Besides, it was HIS TV! But I always hated war movies from the Korean war and back. I never saw Schindler's List either.
It IS a crime, however, to make out in the back of the theatre during Schindler's List, as anyone who has ever watched Jerry Seinfeld, knows. LOL

Isn't it just "wonderful" what man has done to man ? !!! Remember; there were other people mass-murdered in the Nazi death camps besides "only Jews". The Jewish people had the most mass-murders committed against them.
You can take comfort in the assurance of the future hope, of Jesus Christ returning to earth to ultimately resurrect all these dead people and restore them to life in a better world, once again. You can read about it in the pages of the Holy Bible namely, Revelation, the Gospels, Corinthians and First book Thessalonians. Aren't you glad that the future of the world (or what's remaining of it after humans are through with it) is in God's Hands ??? !!!

No, you shouldn't feel bad. The object of showing those kind of movies in public is not for us to feel sorry for them but rather to learn from their experience. Schindler's list and the others have shown us the horrors of war and the face of evil which should never be repeated again.
Learn from it and do your part to ensure that whatever happened in the past, will never happen again. Let us not make the victims of the holocaust die in vain.

It is a very intense and thoughtful movie. Don't feel badly that you can't watch it in its entirety. When and if you desire to watch it at another time, then do so. If not, you can continue it by reading the book. It will put you in a powerfully different mood that you usually would feel. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah - Psalm 68:19.
Peace, Love and God's Blessings.

No, you don't need to feel bad. Obviously if something is just too painful to watch, etc. don't carry on. It's a very interesting movie but definitely painful to watch.

It only shows that you are a sensitive and caring person. Nothing at all wrong with that. Quite commendable in my opinion.
