Yes Muhammad was wrong. A prophet that contradicts God's Word is a false prophet. The Bible warns against false prophets many times.

Mohamed was wrong. And the Bible says "Do not murder." Not Do not Kill.
I havn't read the koran, but i know that it doesn't jibe with the Bible, and i can't figure out why Mohomed said that it was ok to punish non-belivers just because they arn't Muslim. even i know its God who will judge everyone, and its not our job to do thet kind of God's work.
Jesus said to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.
-Not go into all the world an kill all who don't agree with me.
And there is actually a test for true/False prophets.
1. if a 'Prophecy' fails to come true that is supposedly is from God. -He/She is a false prophet.
+it has to come true, in the time constraints that the prophecy is given.
2. If he/she says something that goes against scripture.
-That person is a false prophet.
+it has to be in sinc with what God has said in the Bible.

Dude, talk to a preacher, or a rabbi, a minister before you post silly stuff like this.
Killing in the name of God is older than religion itself. Wikipedia the Crusades, Crucifixion of Jesus, and battle for Jerusalem, all done under the guise of serving an Abrahamic ideal and the manipulation of prophesy to fit ones needs.
From Ezra to Moses there have always been inconsistencies in the Bible. Even Jesus himself contradicted subjects that appeared in the Old Testament, namely items in the Pentateuch.

In reality all the scripture is flawed.
The word of God lives in the heart of the believer.
My faith is as hard as a ball bearing but my heart wasn't just broke it was shattered so it would never harden to the Holy Spirit she is my guide showing me all things.
God is Love not judgment.
Man is his own judge, you judge yourself by judging others. I do not judge so I am not judged. If you don't believe me then seek God for further instruction. For all the misconceptions that are possible with scripture check my words against the word of God and you will find no error.

Well first of all God has to obey his own laws. He is eternal and so are the laws. But thou shalt not kill is not the end. We can kill in self defense. You couldn't stand by and allow your wife and children be massacred if you could stop it. However if you are taking away someone's free agency by murdering them because they are different but not doing any harm then that is not God's plan, that is Satan's plan. I know it gets confusing out there so good luck!

We are to take care what we lay at the Lord's feet. A Prophet and his words are to line up with the word of God ! Sometimes Christians miss the mark and repent. But we're warned about adding to or taking away from the word of God...Prophet or not.

Holy war is in the bible. maybe you wanna read that first then come here. Jihad means to struggle, and one of these ways is struggling to defend yourself and other Muslims (DEFEND) when attacked, is that not allowed in Christianity? and if so then why is the United States, A Predominantly Christian Country, at war with every other Country (Iraq, anyone?)

The book of Revelation speaks of ..........There will be false prophets. Not all prophets speak what lines up with the word of God. Prophecy is a gift from God. If this person is truly a Prophet, then it will not contradict God's word. It is our job to check it and see if it lines up with scripture. If it contradicts God's word, then we should not listen to them.

"Thou shalt not kill" is correct as per bible and Quran but Jihad is compulsory as per bible and quran and bible has more fierce type of Jihad or Holy fight. Read this:
16 "Also you shall destroy all the peoples whom the Lord your God delivers over to you; your eyes shall have no pity on them; nor shall you serve their gods, for that will be a snare to you. (Bible: Deuteronomy 7-16)
