After the fall of Saddam's regime, I found out that Iraqis are not loyal to Iraq, the Shiite are loyal to Iran , some Sunnis are loyal to Al-Qaeda and The kuds want to be independet out of Iraq (kurdistan)... Should I be loyal to Turkey being Iraqi Turkman?

When Saddam first toppled, the head of your party (I think) told Turkey that it is better not to enter Iraq and that Türkmens are loyal to Iraq.

You are right, Iraq is a mess and nobody remembers national loyalties. That happens if your country is a patched up one for political purposes.

Having said that, if I were you, I would try to see if things would work out for my country. If Iraq can stay whole, it is better that it should. But if it will disintegrate, Turkmens have to look out for their own.

And having said THAT, nobody can tell you to forget your cultural heritage. Keep on being Türkmen, learn (if you haven't already) Turkey's Turkish and Latin alphabet, follow cultural and political events here. It is a global world, after all, and we are richer for the learning.

Edit: Looking at your last question, it seems you are more loyal to Kurds, even when they are terrorists.

After teh fall of Saddam, the country is going through a huge turbulence. There is a sort of civil war going on. we had it in Greece after WW2, brothers were killing each other because one was loyal to teh English and the other to the Russians. This eventually ended, and we are all loyal to Greec now. I hope this happens to your country too, for your own good. If you are attached to external forces, you will never manage to prosper.

You should be loyal to IRAQ. Ethnic division is destroying your country. America is composed of many different cultures working together. It is a good model, No matter what you think of our politics. I think civil war is coming in Iraq when the us and British leave. It seems inevitable.

You have to be.. Our aim is to keep Iraq together.. couse if divitions happen that will couse a great war in this area...
What's US plan?? to set up a Kurdish State in order to use them in oil market as a keeper..
The thing that will bring peace to area is just being together as Iraq... Not a divided Iraqi parts....

Turkomans are generally sophisticated and good people and compatible with turkish culture unlike the kurds. Well, if these mountain man opt to be loyal to their nonexistent bogus country, then you should be loyal to your country and your people, who are here for you, namely turkey. That does not mean that you should leave your lands, we will protect your rights to live where you are, always.
