Jhn 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

The commandment to love Him:

Mark 12:29-30 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.

The promised benefit of loving Him:

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written:
“ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

You are a little foxy, but it will not help you. Jesus said: " You are my friends if you observe my commandments ". If you would have known the love of God you you would not want to limit yourself with friendship only. I wish you to come to know the grace of God and His unfailing love.

It's really not wise to love a spiritual whore, who just gives it out to any Tom, Dick, or Harry. The love of someone who is more particular is much more valuable.
