Days ago, i had experienced flank pain that would radiate to my back, now it somehow subsides but i have observed drops of blood at the end of my urination, my urine too is odorous and foul smelling but it's not cloudy nor milky. Ultrasound ( KUB and Pelvis) reveals negative or normal.
What could this symptoms mean?

Aching Pains on eiher one or both sides of the abdomena and lower back ; accompanied by bloody and foul-smelling urine may be due to the following:

1) Nephrolithiasis/urolithiasis (renal or ureteral calculi or stones) is the most common urinary tract etiology

2) Pyelonephritis (acute or chronic)
–E. coli is the most common cause of upper and lower urinary infections, followed by Staphylococcus saprophyticus
–Acute pyelonephritis is usually a complication of a lower UTI
–Chronic pyelonephritis is usually associated with obstruction.

: Pyelonephritis is an inflammation of the kidney and upper urinary tract that usually results from noncontagious bacterial infection of the bladder (cystitis).

Pyelonephritis most often occurs as a result of urinary tract infection, particularly in the presence of occasional or persistent backflow of urine from the bladder into the ureters or kidney pelvis.

Negative result from KUB and Pelvis shows no tumors or stones.

It sounds like a bladder or kidney infection. The treatment would be antibiotics and pain or fever reducers. Drink alot of water and get the antibiotic after taking a urine test at the doctor's. Infection ususally wouldn't show up on hte tests you had. This nothing to fool with, because a bladder infection can touch your kidneys and that's major pain.........usually in the back. The fever goes very high. A bad bladder infection can cause blood in the urine. If it worsens, I would ask my doctor to see a urologist. Any foul odor isn't normal, neither is the blood. I don't know your age, but your prostate should be checked out too.

They say that a few drops of blood is normally not too much to worry about? However, l really would not ignore this, sometimes we fear things are greater than they actually are and then it gets left often for too long and by the time you finally venture to the Doctors it's something that they are really quite annoyed with?
My honest oppinion is that you could well have a Kidney Stone? My Husband went through those same symtoms & when he ignored it, he ended up in hospital along side another 5 other guys who also ignored it all & 4 had too have surgery to remove theirs? Thankfully my Husband's passed 3 hours prior to his having to have surgery? (We still think the thought of surgery scared it out of him), but he sounded like he was about to give birth when he passed it, so beware, it can be painful to pass it but it's the best way to do it!
If you'd rather wait a few more days, the Doctor that treated my Husband told him he needed to Drink alot of water & if it's a kidney stone, you should end up passing it? But don't leave it too long these things have a way of becoming more complicated than they could have been?
Good luck and l really think you already know the right thing to do!
I don't think it's anything like 'nasty disease'?
But l'm not a Doctor either?
Thanks

Well, I would pursue this. Maybe it some other kidney condition. There is a genetic disorder that affects the kidneys. Did you get treated for a UTI infection? Or at least tested.
