Quite often sadly enough. I have two friends at the moment who are pregnant and alone. Their partners wanted children, so the pregnancy wasn't a catalyst for the relationship breakup - however, one of my friends was the stubborn one in my view! It's the trend today that men (and women!) look for greener pastures - even my ex, who wanted a child with me, freaked out when I did get pregnant and acted like a lunatic, he did come around eventually. Sad for the children.

Not many guys are going to support their own kid when the government will do it. The line of doing whats right got trampled on and you can hardly see it anymore. My parents grew up during the depression and family meant alot to them. They always led by example, Help your neighbor, Do a days work for a days pay. Treat people with respect, and honor your commitments. I know that sounds strange , but my family lives by those rules. Honor your commitments, how my people do that now days.

Unfortunately it takes two to get pregnant. And the problem is that the female is left with the issue. Either way, a good lesson for both.
