Eve is not a clone, God took the rib from Man so that a woman and a man can see they are meant for one another
Women are physically, mentally, and emotionally different then men.
Cloning tells God the Creator of life, what you do is not special and we do not need you which is wrong God knows us before we are in the womb he creates our souls. What is the point of having a life with no soul? What are we really creating when we clone someone? Would you really want to give up your uniqueness? God does not want you to. He created you out of love and shaped your personality he gave you your sense of humor he gave you your eye and hair color he dreamed of you and hand picked your parents so that you would inherit the things he wanted you to have.
We should let God create life.

Cloning of human is globally banned, and the science community is almost unanimously against it.
Whether "Eve is a clone of Adam", I really don't know. That's an odd way to interpret the Bible anyway.

I am a Christian. I don't believe cloning is a bad thing.
So, even though I can understand why you would generalize like this, it's not altogether true. I'm diabetic, so cloning of certain cells in our bodies may help me be cured some day. Cloning may help people with other diseases, too.
Science just helps prove how great God is!!

A LOT of ethical and moral questions remain to be resolved.
There are times that science/technology can move faster than resolving the moral or social concerns.
My main opposition is that I don't want to see "spare parts factories" where people are cloned and grown for spare parts.
