How to re-connect with people who you once served with during active duty but have since lost track of, and who may or may not still be involved in the Military.

What are some effective ways to try to re-connect. As for me, it's been about 15 years, Navy.

classmates.com is a good site. I've hooked up with 4 people I was stationed with in Misawa in 79. Last year I even received an email from my old first shirt. Oh I forgot, I got an email from a guy that we were stationed together back here in the states and it turned out we worked for the same company 20 years later.

I found one site and made contact with shipmates from the late 1960s. You just register, give a little bit of background on which ship and what time frame. FYI, the ship in question only had a crew of 84. So, finding two or three was a minor miracle.

Army Times, VFW magazine which has the reunions and people looking for people. You can also go to your unit site on-line, as they probably have one!
