How is it not obvious you just want to fight with someone?

For one thing, the Holy Bible - His inspired word, has predicted the present state or moral condition of this world we live in- right to the "T", well-over 4 thousand years ago . God also, deals with future events (yet to come) and lo, and behold, when you understand what to look for, you can see things "shaping-up" in that direction. Why is this not obvious to YOU ? Simply; because you have not been given the "calling" nor the insight (YET) that God gives to His own [elect]. God is not "obvious" because He chooses NOT to be that way.

So what's so bad about man made inventions?

What else is going to teach men something?

My point really is that *most* of religion is man made, but so what? Religion is suppose to transform your mind in some positive way. It's full of techniques, methods, practices and beliefs to do that... and they're all 'man made' at one level or another.

The spiritual experience is not, but the teachings are.

How is it that He's not?

Read about yourself:

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified [him] not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

On a Friday about two thousand years ago Jesus Christ was crucified and died. A Roman soldier plunged a spear into his heart to make sure he was indeed dead. On Sunday morning his tomb was empty, and shortly after that he appeared in the flesh to a group of his disciples. He showed them his wounds, and ate some fish, and continued appearing to various disciples for another 40 days. The only way to explain this is by believing that

(1) all four of the gospel authors were corrupt liars, as were all of the men and women who were killed for defending the authenticity of Christ's ressurection

(2) God is real

The choice is yours to make.

It is obvious to me. I completely see the way man invented god to explain the unknown.

I sometimes still think it is possible there is some purpose to the universe. However, it is nothing to me like the views of western religions.

Because when I was dying of blood loss and I came into the presence of Christ I was washed in love and warmth and peace beyond understanding. Coming back to this world was a shock like falling into a cold pool while being hit by a truck. Even breathing hurts here by comparison after that experience.

God is Love.
I saw it myself.

Then after that knowing what people around me were thinking and feeling. Knowing things before they happened. Shifting realities so I went from depressed starving poverty to middle class over night.

God is real. I see him in you, he hides behind your ego.

How is it not obvious that MAN is a God made invention?

Don't you just HATE it when the first answerer has the same answer but you're just a few seconds late with it (that person was faster hitting the submit button)?

Over-exposure has tainted our peers. They can see, but they can be blind to reality. They can hear, but only if it is in line with the 'will of god'. They can think... but only if their big storybook permits them to do so. They believe what they have convinced themselves of for centuries. Now, religion is habit.

But fear not, friend... a new age is dawning. Skepticism is sweeping the nation. All will soon be well.
