He is a holy man, a prophet and a messenger of God.
Two religions that recognize the existence of Jesus are Christians and Islam. However they have different version of the story of Jesus. But both religions respect Jesus.

Jesus is a great king who lives in heaven.
He came down to Earth , humbly, about 2000 years ago to give his life for mankind. at the request of God, his father.(..notice in the bible , he prayed to his father)
Now he rules the heavens and will soon be ruling the Earth, taking over for the devil , who is the ruler of the Earth at this time. (that describes world chaos happening , among other things, doesn't it?)
By giving his life for us, he cancelled out the sin of the first man, Adam...
which means we can have a hope of life for the future.

Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Jesus, also known as Jesus of Nazareth, is the central figure of Christianity. He is also called Jesus Christ, where "Christ" is a title derived from the Greek christós, meaning the "Anointed One," which corresponds to the Hebrew-derived "Messiah". The name "Jesus" is an Anglicization of the Greek Ίησους (Iēsous), itself a Hellenization of the Hebrew יהושע (Yehoshua) or Hebrew-Aramaic ישוע (Yeshua), meaning "YHWH is salvation".
