What do you have against hippys?
We never hurt anyone and it was a fun time.
Lots of loving people worried about their fellow man. Trying to spread the good news.
If acting like God and nature means more to you than acting corporate, that's a bad thing?

Jesus was far more like a hippie than Pat Robertson. Hippies were inspired by Jesus among other philosophical viewpoints. You hear Jesus like lyrics all through the music of the 1960's. It was all about enlightenment. Hippies were not about drugs. Sadly for them they became "cool" then the druggies came.
Still, what they said then is more important now.
All you need is love.

I have to agree ! I do think that the time of Christ that men had long hair and they wore long robes or tunics. I can see where In today's culture they would be classed as a hippy. But we aren't suppose to judge people on how they are dressed or by the length of their hair. Only God knows what's In that person's heart. ...

Maybe the immage of hippy is people who are lazy , do nothing, dont care abt their looks; it's not natural but it's orchestrated to look natural.
Anyway, I dont believe Jesus real robe is like the one on the painting ; I dont believe his hair is long and kept loose. It's just somebody immagination. Not different than how the angels look like. Bare babies with wings.
