Allow me to turn that around:

Should man abdicate his freewill to God....?

TTC, you know what I think; I'm an Atheist, and it is my belief--not discrediting anyone else's belief, mind you--that when a person abdicates their freewill to "God", they, in reality, surrender it simply to another person or institution.
