I find it amazing that people here are asking questions for the following reasons....

1- To test check your knowledge since asker knows the answer.

2- To test check your knowledge since the asker doesn't know the answer him self.

3- To tell you that how brillient & intelligent the asker is and others are just fools.

4- To tease and abuse others and surprisingly such askers do not even care to look at the answers.

5- To really know the answers by a genuine asker.[very few]

6- To make fun of you.

7- To become famous on YA [ like you]. More good questions, more you become famous.

I hope I havn't missed any catagory of askers.

Edit: Anyway it's my feelings.

When we are in religion and spirituality forum, we are supposed to be addressing the questions as also answers to the wider spectrum of all the participants and browsers.

We may be we think, knowing the answer to our questions, but we are not perfect. We may like to feel the opinions of other participants also. The subject of spiritual science is such that, even when we keep repeating the same message over and over, yet we can never remain quiet and contented. And reading the same thing over and over again is also worth the efforts we take.

We do wrong only when we try to offend others. We do wrong when we hide from others and shoot. That may be good for the battle field and not, for the aspirers in the spiritual world.

Also trying to flaunt your 'knowledge' is counterproductive in this arena. Writing with ingenuous intentions is healthy and productive.

It is difficult to judge because a lot of people involved.
Mostly we ask questions to impress ourselves and others as well. And points are also there. But in Religion & Spirituality I am after the knowledge and arguements, because, I beleive that, every Religion on this earth is nothing but an arguement.

Let us argue,
to get that real knowledge.

I don't normally ask questions for which I already know the answer. The only time that I ask a question is when I need to clarify something, be sure about it, or to try and create debate and discussion.

Its really an evolutionary process so even though there is no real learning as in acquiring knowledge there is adjustments made.It is really the multitude who need the attitude correction.Having said that it is the minority who take advantage of the multitude's ignorance due to thier arrogance.Rememeber it was war and loss of life because of Vishnu's and Braman's arrogance.

As per Yahoo!Answers guidelines we are supposed to ask questions for which we do not know answers. The purpose should be for learning new things, because each and every one of have learned a fistful only and we have to learn a lot more - say to the size of this world.

Secondly, it is not our responsibility here to conduct examinations for other users by asking questions for which answers are known to us.-

Oh, most of the time it is seeking outside help to re-discover the answers hidden deep within.
(The information based answers are not considered for answering this question, because it just data collection, though very important too!)
