Seriously? I would try to talk to the person if it was someone I knew. If it was not, I would try to call or contact and find out what was going on. If I was 100% sure (that is the important part) that it was deliberate lies, I would take it to someone with the ability to do more, a fraud investigator, etc, if there was money involved. But I would need to be convinced it was deliberately done before I went there

I'm not sure how much Atheists have to lie about... we typically stick with fact. Textbooks... Theories... I've never even been to an Atheist website.

But what does tick me off is when a 'fellow' Atheist, who claims to be against religion/ organized religion goes and starts a group for Atheists. Hello... You're supposed to be against organized religion. Just because our position happens to be in stark contrast to othe beliefs, getting together to for a group to talk about how we don't believe in something is a bit like a congregation. A Church of Atheists, if you will. HYPOCRITICAL. Stop it.

seriously?

anyone who shares my beliefs might be wrong, deluded, whatever. but if they share my beliefs, it would be hard to imagine that person deliberately cooking up hurtful lies.

We can either run around trying to put out all the fires started by liars, all of them.
Or we can spend our time spreading truth.
I choose the second method.
Good question!!

Everybody lies.
Everybody tells the truth.
Nobody always does either.
