Okay this cookbook is really old and falling apart but my mom really loves it. The copyright year is 1969-1978 and I need to find some place that I can buy a new one. Heres a picture:

Oh yes that is a classic Betty Crocker cookbook. Have you tried Ebay, or Antique shops. But better yet Barnes and Noble has the very same version just Way more updated to 2007 version. Still has the traditional wonderful recipes of the good old days.

I have a BC cookbook but it's very different from my mom's old BC cookbook. They change them a lot with each edition so I know how you feel, wanting this particular one. I am sure it's out of print and not sure how you would go about finding this one in better condition, other than what's already been suggested. Good luck.

I have that cookbook - it's great! The newest version is referred to as The Big Red Cookbook. I'm sure it's available at a lot of bookstores, as well as Wal Mart like someone else mentioned. I use my copy too often to give it up. My only thought is for you to search for used books - both on the web as well as your local phone book.

I saw a new edition Betty Crocker Cookbook today in the book section of Wal-Mart. IIRC, the price was in the $19.00 - 25.00 range.
I use my old Betty Crocker cookbook a lot as well.

Try Amazon.com. They have a 'used book' connection if you want the same years, but they also have the 'newer' (and I hope healthier) editions of that cookbook.
