JP2? It was a combination of things. CHF(congestive heart failure) a severe kidney infection and sepsis(severe infection). He had been in the hospital for the kidney infection and they sent him home and was doing ok and then the infection(sepsis) set in and then he refused to go to the hospital and only relied on the doctors at the Vatican and he refused treatment, he was ready to go.
