Is there the slightest possibility you will experience enlightenment in this lifetime?
Which you, which world?
"...and if you believe and have no doubt, you shall say to this mountain..."
"..you create your life according to the nature of your beliefs.."
"..all things are possible to the one who believes.."
“Your joy, vitality and accomplishment do not come from the outside to you as the result of events that ‘happen to you.’ They spring from inner events that are the result of your beliefs.”
“Our beliefs are like unquestioned commands, telling us how things are, what's possible and what's impossible, what we can and cannot do. They shape every action, every thought, and every feeling we experience."
"...the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen..."
"We are what we think.
All that we are...arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make our world"
"..change your beliefs..and you change your reality.."
What do you believe?

“... the first important step is to realize that your beliefs about reality are just that – beliefs about reality and not necessarily attributes of reality. You must make a clear distinction between you and your beliefs. You must then realize that your beliefs are physically materialized. What you believe to be true in your experience is true.” ~ The Nature of Personal Reality, session 621.

I believe that faith.... the size of a mustard seed.....is the beginning of an enlightened being.
Each of us will see what we wish to see in each moment....for we can not see that which we do not believe exists. (however, how does one say..."I couldn't believe my eyes")??
Perhaps....the outer experiences can shape the inner world...or perhaps we all have our own unique path to follow?
Things seen and not believed or things not seen, but somehow known. The mustard seed planted in firm soil....will thrive and grow to be a strong old oak.
The house, with a strong foundation, withstands the winds of change.
I believe that faith can move mountains. I believe that I am being enlightened.

Hereto a comment worthy of quotation:
" Many have searched the world to learn the secrets of Enlightenment. And many have written great words, thoughts and ideas about enlightenment. The greatest secret of enlightenment is that it truly cannot be spoken or written. True Enlightenment can only be transmitted as a burst of spiritual healing energy. No more than an ocean breeze give you the depths of the ocean, can descriptions of enlightenment or even the ideas of an enlightened being give you the fullness of enlightenment.
" Full enlightenment is the capacity to see the truth of healing and spirituality and all other matters directly and completely with one's own eyes without reference or dependence on the thoughts of another human [...]
" Indeed, the fundamental purpose of sharing enlightened ideas is to foster a greater desire for enlightenment directly. Unfortunately, those who bathe in streams of enlightened thought often become expert at regurgitating and analyzing the thoughts of others. Not only has the desire for true enlightenment evaporated, but even its memory is gone, too. How sad.
" Enlightened ideas are only evidence that enlightenment can occur. Words are shadows of experience, but they are not the experience itself. Just as the word, "hot" will not burn you -- even if you say it one million times -- fire will. You only have to touch it once. Enlightened words do not enlighten you. They will inform you of a possibility that you must seek [...] "

I believe enlightenment is a process, an evolution, which will culminate in some souls being enraptured by the All That Is. I believe that what we think AND FEEL, we become and we are. Our thoughts are our form; our emotions are are substance. They occur simultaneously because of their symbiotic nature. Without substance there can be no form; without form there can be no substance. We must have both to manifest physically.
"When we work with both form and substance to achieve our highest goals, we work to harmonize within ourselves and thereby find the synergy of the yin/yang essence that we are. Through this harmonic synergy we are able to connect to that which lies beyond the physical. Through this understanding and awareness, we are able to find and touch and know our ch'i, our ki, our soul."
This is the true Revelation. This is the key to Self Mastery. This is the key to being enraptured by the Oneness of Us All.
KNOW THYSELF.
This is what I believe; this is what I know as my truth.

The pilgrim may get tired,
distressed & fatigued
but every step
brings him closer
to that.
While walking ,
he may even lose
and shed his garment
of flesh
but let there be
no remorse
for the fate
will take him
up and clothe
him again.
A new body.
And the pilgrimage
will continue.
Let him not
lose his heart.
The will is the grain.
Even though
it may be small,
but persistent will
may also lead him
to the goal.
At least try,
try and try again.
No effort goes waste.
But what about
those who
do not move,
even a finger.

Thoughts are more powerful than I ever imagined. What you conceive, you can create. The mustard seed thing isn't about the size of the seed as much as it is about the concentration of the faith contained in that tiny little seed... I have tested the Lord. That was the only way I could believe.

I believe everything you said.
Jesus taught us that God is Love.
I open the doors of perception with love now.
I always find what I seek even if it's just what I "Truly" expect to happen, whether good or bad.
Seek to love first and everything will become clear in time.
John 14:20
At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
I have much to learn of other faiths but it seems they believe the same things for the most part. They all believe in unity which only works by love. God is love and we are one with God so we are one with each other.

Well, I am not trying to achieve enlightenment in a set time period; it is more of a journey for me, putting one foot in front of the other.
As for the quotes on the power of our beliefs, I agree with them all. If we only knew how powerful our beliefs were, we would truly examine them and test them out before making them our own.

I know that believing in something does not make it true.
There are people who died because thier belief contadicted reality, and all things were not possible.
Changing your beliefs does not change reality one jot.
Learn to see what is really there, no more, no less.

Enlightenment is mine.
I exist Enlightened, I move in it, as it, I breath it, I dance it, I love it.
The degree to which I cognize this as truth still will ebb and flow, but it is here, and it is only a matter of time before it is the all of my experience.
One day I got just tired of waiting, and so decided to claim it for myself. No one else was offering to verify, so I did.
Act as though, and so it shall be.....

I believe in testing all preconceived ideas to either accept them or eliminate false ones to expose the truth but to allow the mind to see and hear it requires work and study of the truth in ones life.
