I have to eat bland for a while, having digestion problems. I want recipes, not webpages with recipes. I have been to those. What do you make if you are on a bland diet? I know the basics....broth, potatos, rice. Looking for something different.

Thanks for all of your answers.

Your answers are great...let me clarify....I cannot eat anything that will produce gas...no sauces, no tomatos, no cabbage, no broccoli, no beans, no meat ( i dont eat red meat anyways)....nothign that is acidic, nothing spicy, low dairy, and nothing leafy. I am stuck eating rice and potatos and broth. Now I do jazz up potatos and rices...and add cheese and sour cream. I cannot have fried foods, nothing processed like lunch meat. I have acid reflux BAD and have to let my stomach chilll for a second.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aU7Fz

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Hello, greasy and spicy foods actually have very little to do with it. Your stomach can take those quite well. Chronic heartburn is usually from acid reflux - stomach acid is getting past the little valve and into your esophagus. https://tr.im/CureYourAcidReflux

The most immediate thing you can do is to stop drinking coffee and cola. Smoking is not good either, but that might be harder to stop. Don't over-eat. Don't lie down too soon after eating. Don't burp too much - this carries acid up with the burp.
You also should know some natural ways to treat your heartburn. Learn them here:
https://tr.im/CureYourAcidReflux

* Carbo Veg 200 (liquid): take 6 drops of Carbo Veg 200 in half cup of water after meals twice a day
* Natrum Phos 6x (tablets): take 4 tablets of Natrum Phos 6x after meals twice a day (for 2 months only)

Drop Natrum Phos 6X after 2 months and continue with Carbo Veg 200.

Note: Keep 30 minutes time difference between medicines and do not take anything after 30 minutes of taking medicines

The Alkaline Diet is probably a safe bet for you. There is a lot of info on the Web about Alkaline foods, but here are a few recipes to start you out:

Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients:

1 small pumpkin
300g gluten-free flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp of italian seasoning
2 tbsp of oil (udo’s choice, hemp oil, flax oil etc)
50-75ml of water

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 2 hours

Method:

1. First and foremost, the oven must be preheated to 200C (or gas mark 6). Once this has preheated, put the entire pumpkin onto a baking tray and bake for at least 40-50 minutes or until the pumpkin has become quite soft.

2. Cool the pumpkin (still on the tray) for at least half and hour.

Autumn Tomato & Avocado Alkalizing Soup

This is a nice soup to have either cold (a bit like gazpacho) or warmed (on a slightly chilly morning or evening)

Ingredients:

5 large ripe (pref vine) tomatoes.
1 ripe avocado
1 spring onion
1/4 cup ground almonds (freshly done yourself, not packet)
1 cup broth from Swiss Vegetable Bouillon
1/4 teaspoon dill seed
Dash cayenne pepper
Sea salt & cracked black pepper to taste

Instructions:

All you need to do is place all of the ingredients into a blended (except one of the tomatoes) and blend! Depending on whether you are going cold or warm - then place the soup into a pan and warm very slightly. Warming so that it is not painful to put your finger into still means that the soup is raw. Add the last tomato (sliced) on top and serve!

Besides the broth, potatoes and rice, don't forget about eggs - for omelets or crepes with fruit filling, pancakes or french toast (or hard boiled added to salads). Apples for apple sauce or baked apples or apple crisp. Fresh melons and berries can be used in so many ways that won't produce gas. Salads with lots of fresh veggies and just a little dressing - just stay away from cucs and tomatoes that can add gas. Oatmeal can be flavored up with apples and a little cinnamon or brown sugar. Cream of wheat hot cereal with raisins cooked right in it. Breads and rolls or biscuits don't need butter if they're good quality. Jam is always good on them. Peanut butter can be a good protein source as can tuna.

Use herbs to add flavor to the foods you normally enjoy. Just stay away from acidic (citrus) fruits and gaseous veggies like tomatoes, cucs and beans. Also stay away from things like tabasco sauce!
