You are doing exactly what Jesus wants you to do: resisting the temptation to sin. You are not a thief unless you steal, a murderer unless you do murder, or anything else unless you act on the temptation. You are not homosexual unless you commit homosexual acts. Regarding your fantasies, do your very best to avoid impure thoughts of any kind, dwelling on them is sinful. Pray often and God will help you.

Hi-
I agree with Helen and Allies For Christ.
Here is the deal - God's Word is trustworthy and true. He gave you a gender and that is what you are. Environmental circumstances can cause one to feel that they have been either gay or bi all their lives, but if you were born a female, then that is the way God created you. You were not created bi sexual.
Now I think (since you asked what we think) that if you desire to be a Christian, than you have some decisions to make. Jesus tells us that there are several things we need to do to belong to Him -
we must deny ourselves
take up our cross
and follow Him
That is from Mark 10:34
Following Jesus is an all or nothing deal, we can't pick and choose the scriptures that feel good and are easy to follow.
During the time that Jesus was on this earth some who had been following Him walked away because they did not choose to let Him be Lord in their lives. They did not want to let go of things that kept them from completely devoting themselves to Him.
I hope that you choose Christ. Lust is very strong and tempting. Lusting after anyone is sin in the eyes of God. If you do choose Christ over being bi, then ask Christians to be praying for you and with you. You CAN take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ Jesus.
I wish you all the best and hope that you make the decision to follow Christ.

if you've done all you can and pray all the time about and live a christian life...AND He made you like that, I don't see how He can punish you for how He made you. I could never understand that. It confuses me so much. Never give up faith. All anyone can do sometimes is pray. I'll pray for you also. It's so confusing. Only God knows. Good luck and God bless!

The Bible tells us that a person becomes bisexual or homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27). This does not necessarily mean sins the person has committed. Rather, it refers to sin itself. Sin warps, twists, and perverts everything in creation. Bisexuality and homosexuality are caused by sin "damaging" us spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Sin is the plague, and bisexuality is simply one of the symptoms.
Many Christians mistakenly focus on bisexuality and homosexuality as particularly evil sins. The Bible nowhere describes homosexuality as being any less forgivable than any other sin. A bisexual is the same number of steps away from salvation as the "moral" legalist - one. God offers forgiveness to anyone and everyone who will trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. This includes those involved in bisexuality. Once salvation through Christ is received, God will begin the process of destroying the acts of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21), including any and all homosexual tendencies, and developing the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The promise of a "new creation" is available to anyone who will trust in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Only you can find your way. You know you. The Lord knows you. What is so appealing about the other sex? I am a female and honestly I can't stand them. Petty. Selfish. Arrogant. I was approached at 6 years old by an older lesbian to do things I was uncomfortable with. I didn't and I lost my Foster home over it. But it doesn't make me want to be a Man. I have no answer for you. Sorry.

The thought does not constitute the act. If David merely looked upon Bathsheba, but never acted upon it, then there would not have been the repercussions seen later.
You must be warned however, that the idea of being an active homosexual and a Christian cannot be reconciled without severe denial and self-justification. You would have to apply the same logic to the other sins listed with it in 1 Corinthians 6:8-10, that is fornication, idolatry, adultery, theft, coveting, drunkenness, reviling, and extortion. Can you engage in the above and still go to heaven?
Since the word "Christian" means "Christ-like", then the term "Gay Christian" would mean something. They would have to have a new savior--one that is gay. This then would be creating god in their own image--thereby engaging in idolotry.
The Bible says that in Christ, you are a NEW creation. I see wanting to keep their lifestyle with a guarantee of eternal life. But it cannot be reconciled. They are being like Esau, exchanging their birthright for a pot of beans, just because they feel they would die without it.
Matthew 18:8-10
“If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire.
Jesus is not talking about literally dismembering yourself. You see, in that day, to have no hands , no feet or eyes made you instantly without a means of support. You would need to beg for the rest of your life. So your hands, feet and eyes were all VERY important to you. But Jesus said that if the most important things in your life--the things that are most attached to you emotionally--are keeping you from His Light and eternal life, offer it up as a sacrifice for the sake of the kingdom. Jesus knew what hell was going to be like, and what heaven is like. To risk hell for our temporary situation here on earth is not worth the inevitable consequence.
When the disciples told Jesus what they gave up to follow Him, Jesus replied...
Matthew 19:29
"Everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life."
Jesus was not saying you will receive a hundredfold in heaven, this promise is for NOW. In other words, God will not leave you emotionally empty. But rather, what ever you give to Him as an offering, He will give back x100 now. I can attest to this with my own life, and many other believers as well. You cannot out give God. Trust me on that one.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11,
Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites... will inherit the kingdom of God. And SUCH WERE SOME OF YOU. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

In the bible it says that no man should be with a man nor a woman with a woman. It's a sin and your going agianst God. You really should talk to a Pastor. He can guide you but it's you that has to make the change. All he can do is tell you the word of God. What I owuld do is pray and talk to the Lord about it. The Lord will guide you where he wants you to be. BUt listen to him though. It's very important and if you do things God's way he will bless you in so many ways. I have seen it myself when I made my changes. I do everything for the Lord.

I think that God loves you, and Jesus would have supper with you. You are a blessed child of God. God loves you and the rest of us in spite of ourselves. None of us deserve grace, yet God gives it freely to us. God reveals to us truth through the written word, through the life of Christ, through creation, and hopefully through the lives of disciples.
We all have temptations, lusts, fantasies, anger, greed, covetousness, murder or slanderous thoughts and/or deeds, and we even slander God.
In our hearts and minds we can be assured that we are made clean and loved by God our eternal father. Through God, we are made perfect by God's grace.
Bless you. Please pray for me as I struggle with anger lately.

You wrote:
"but i also love god and accepted Jesus"
Jesus writes:
Jhn 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Can you make any connection between these statements?
