We are redecorating our family room. I was wondering if a brown leather couch and recliner would go with a black entertainment center and a green rug. If not, what should we change. If so, what type of window treatments should I get?

Whoa !As for the leather couch think long and hard is your home well heated or cooled ? IS it looks your going for ?
Well if its a family room look into durability and Brown is very nice with a green rug, but if it is a forest green no get a olive or cream green with black or brown into it oh and same as the window treatments and maybe what ever your wall color is too(in color)As for window treatments if you think fabric is your choice, but if you want it to stay in place you have many choices
If you have side tables that are black to and wall art with black sure, but if you don't want to get anotherone then you could always paint or distress it with a copper color . You know there are alot of things that could help you why not go to HGTV and take the test see what you style is.MAybe the answers are there . or see some of the room makeovers. and get some great ideas I mean any from this place should be very interesting for you . I think those colors can work together - kind of forest-y. As for window treatments, I think I would get honeycomb shades to match the rug:
