Hot water on the face is a good way to start. Using a soft loofah gently scrub the face in hot soapy water. When you get out of the shower splash your face with more hot water as hot as you can handle and then follow with cold water to close the pores. If you are home alone try putting manuka honey on the sores and leave it on all day. Also take the manuka honey orally 1 teaspoon with meals 3 times a day. Ice also helps to reduce the swelling so you could aslo try applying that to the face after you have showered and washed your face. I have also found using low fat yogurt as a mask seems to smooth them out and make them less angry. Try these and I hope it helps.

Use the non-gel type toothpaste (the white stuff.) Put it on at night and by morning you should notice a difference. Peroxide and baking soda paste is good too (mix together.)

For pimples, dab a bit of toothpaste on each one. Give it a try. It works.
