People who are unfaithful lie because they make the mental calculation that you will never discover they are lying and think they will get away with their activities. They also figure that being honest about being unfaithful doesn't gain them anything and only gets them into trouble. They don't really want to be confronted with the consequences of their actions, which could be rejection and end of a relationship. As long as they can get away without you knowing about their behavior, they can have their cake and eat it too. They know they are doing something bad, and don't want to be found out. Much of their regret is about being found out, rather than sincere contrition or desire to change their ways.

EZ, they dont want to look like the bad guy. If he told you the truth, wouldnt that hurt more? If they lie about it and think they can get away with it, Chances are,he still wants to be able to get with you if you allow him. Why would you have to ask if hes cheating?

first & foremost, they don't want to seem like the true butthole they really are (the ego). Then, they want to see how far they can get with you without you kicking them to the curb. At best, it's usually when you kick them to the curb when you find out they're a mess...AND cheating.

Why do girls lie when they say the same thing? Humans are always looking for more than they have in some aspect of their lives. For some people in relationships that is more sex. It happens.

Men and women have two definitions of cheating. Women realize that there can be emotional relationship that exist and that is cheating. Men think that because they didnt have sex then they are not cheating. There are so wrong!!!!
