It has some things to say about God's plan for the world but not every detail that we would like to know. It doesn't explain life as much as it reveals important truths about life. It has some things to say about why we live and our purpose. And by reading it you learn some things about the universe but it is more of a spiritual book than a scientific book.

You will gain knowledge of a connection to something greater that was lost when man sinned and separated himself from God and the plan on how to reconnect with God to experience the fullness of life.
