Many people have dreams that they lose all of their teeth. In this dream, they may feel something strange in their mouth and then spit teeth into their hand, eventually losing all of their teeth. According to some, our teeth are related to our sense of power and our ability to communicate. Losing our teeth not only makes us embarrassed by our appearance, which hinders our communications, but it also lessens our power because we may not speak our minds. It's also associated with feelings about our appearance.

That, I have not heard. From what I know, teeth falling out is anxiety concerning the home. And for some reason, the dream is more prevelant in females. If they're falling out on the right side of your mouth, a man is causing it. Teeth falling out on the left side, the anxiety is caused by a female.

I think that's a myth; however, I've had that same dream many times. I'm not sure what it means when you dream your teeth are going to fall out, but just to be on the safe side, see your dentist twice a year, and brush after every meal....LOL!

According to Dreamcrowd:
To see bites in your dream, forewarns of danger from someone who has wished you harm, either physical or monetary. Be careful of people who surround you. To dream that you are being bitten, represents your vulnerability regarding your unresolved issues emotions. You may be pestered by a problem or obstacle. To dream that you are being bitten by a vampire, signifies your need to shut out a person in your life who has been using you. It is time to open your eyes and stand up for your self. Do not let yourself be manipulated and played for a fool. To dream of biting someone in your dream, signifies the pressure you are putting on some people causing them great distress. You may have unexpressed, perhaps even childish, feelings of anger or resentment that need to be recognized. This dream is a message for you to lighten up and alleviate the stress that you are putting on others.
This is a common dream which usually represents underlying fears and feelings of inadequacy and helplessness. Interpret your dream by considering your primary fears, current difficulties, and situations in your life that seem to be on a downward spiral, especially those situations that seem outside of your control (financial, romantic,etc.). Some people believe that if you keep falling in your dream and don't wake up that you will die at the point of impact. This is absolutely not true. In a falling dream you wake up out of fear and not because of danger of dying. Superstition based dream interpretations say that if you fall a long distance in your dream and get hurt, be prepared for really hard times ahead; but if you fall and are not injured your upsets will be minor and temporary.

that is just a traditional belief. i've had that kind of dream several times already but nobody died in my family or friends. there is no connection between dreaming of falling teeth and death of loved ones. in psychology there is a term self fulfilling prophecy. it means that if you really believe that something is going to happen, eventually it will. once you inculcate that belief in your head, you'll feel anxious- and possibly that could lead to accidents.
however, if you really can't get away with the thought and if you are into traditional beliefs, try biting the trunk of a tree. in my country (Philippines) they say that if you want to avoid the negative consequences of that dream, you have to do as i've mentioned above..

That's what I've been told and it's true. I know people die everyday but when I have a dream of my teeth falling out it's usually someone I know that dies.

One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you.

I heard it is an anxiety reaction of not telling the truth about something/to someone.
