Me and my fiance' are planning to take an Alaskan cruise tour with Holland America for our honeymoon and i was wondering if anyone had been on their ship the Zaandam and what your experience was like.

If so, would you go on that ship again? or would you pick another cruise line altogether? Also, this is our first time on a cruise so if you have any tips that you can share that would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't been on this particular ship, but I have gone on a Holland America cruise before and had such a great time. I would definitely recommend this cruise line.

It seemed like the majority of the people on the cruise were older (retirement age), but that didn't bother me at all. If you and your fiance are into socializing with a younger crowd, you may want to consider a different cruise line. However, I found that the older people on the cruise were friendly and were there to have a good time just like I was, so I didn't regret it at all.
